Ask your MP to be ambitious about early diagnosis

When it comes to diagnosing breast cancer, there’s no time to waste.

Patients waiting for a diagnosis are already going through an incredibly difficult time. Waiting longer to know only causes more stress and anxiety.

And for those who do have breast cancer, a slower diagnosis can prevent them starting treatment as quickly as possible.

But we're concerned the Government isn't doing enough to make sure people are diagnosed as quickly as possible.

That’s why we’re calling on the Government to commit to a truly ambitious target for how long it should take people to have breast cancer diagnosed.

You can help by asking your MP to add their name to a letter being sent to the Health Secretary in support of this ambitious target.

We’ve prepared a template email for you to send, so all you need to do is fill in your details, press “Next” and then click “Email My MP” – it will only take a minute.

We need as many MPs as possible to sign the letter, to show the Health Secretary that there is strong, cross-party support for the target. Your email could make all the difference in encouraging your MP to add their name!
