ASK YOUR MP TO SUPPORT BREAST CANCER RESEARCH, DIAGNOSIS AND CARE

The coronavirus has left breast cancer facing its biggest crisis in decades.

It has paused research. Put screening programmes on hold. Delayed diagnosis. Resulted in a significant reduction in cancer referrals.

But for people affected by breast cancer, there is no time to pause. No time for delays. No time to wait.

That’s why we need your help to call on the Government to commit money to breast cancer in the upcoming Spending Review (SR) so we can:

  • Press play on a national secondary breast cancer audit - to give us the missing insight to ensure the NHS can meet the needs of those living with secondary breast cancer.
  • Press play on recruiting and training more NHS staff - to deal with delays and backlogs and provide care and support to those who need it most.
  • Press play on extra funding for medical research charities – to prevent progress in breast cancer research from stalling.

Please email your MP and ask them to write to the Chancellor asking him to address our calls in the SR.

We’ve prepared a template email for you to send, all you need to do is enter your details and press "Email Your MP".

If you'd like to, you can add a personal message to the email, using your own experience to share why this funding is so important to people affected by breast cancer.

The more emails and letters the Chancellor receives from MPs, the better our chances of securing funding for breast cancer in the SR.
